*current USPC standards of proficiency
*information on the popular alternative certificates
*find examiners for your 2025 testings
For Instructors, Examiners, Would-be Examiners, and Pony Club Members,
this is a great opportunity for you to learn about:
*teaching techniques to prep members for their testings
*being a PIP examiner as well as assistant examiners
*how to use a scribe
*setting a successful testing day schedule
*using the Pony Club flowcharts
*filling out test sheets
*helping a candidate who “Did Not Meet Standard” and has the potential to retest
*encouraging a candidate who will need to retake an entire testing PLUS an opportunity to meet the leaders of Lake Shore Region’s clubs and centers and learn of opportunities to assist at a testing or help prep a club.
In order to prepare for this clinic & get the most out of your day, please familiarize yourself with the Standards of Proficiency (SOP), the Test Sheets and the Guidelines for Testing for each certificate. These include test sheets for D1, D2, D3, C1 & C2: Flat, Jumping, Dressage & Hunter Seat Equitation
Demo riders at the D1-C2 levels will be needed. ALL DEMO RIDERS WILL RIDE SATURDAY MORNING, in the same ring as Show Jump Rally rounds will be in later. Riders will be put in demo groups according to their current certificate levels. There will be different flat and jump groups. There will be lesson slots available as well.
