How to Enter
  1. Download the blank pin template (required) and view example logos from past years.
  2. Create a captivating logo that reflects our region and the spirit of the convention.
  3. Add a caption to your logo — this caption will serve as the official theme for the 2027 Convention.
  4. Submit your logo and theme through our Google Form.
Deadline for submissions: October 24, 2025
Leaders’ vote: November 7, 2025 (at the Regional Leaders Meeting)
Theme Guidance (What Makes a Great Theme?)
  • Keep it short, memorable, and easy to use in decorations, promos, and program materials.
  • Tie it to what’s unique about our area/host city.
  • Examples from recent years include:
    • Gateway to the Future (2023)
    • Gallop Into the Great Lakes (2025)
    • The Roarin’ 20s in the Windy City (2026)

Logo Guidelines
  • Use the official blank pin template (required).
  • Aim for 4–6 colors to keep printing and embroidery costs reasonable.
  • Don’t be afraid of white space—clean designs reproduce best across many uses.
  • The logo should scale well for web, print, pins, apparel, and signage.
  • Please follow USPC branding standards.
Recommended file formats:
  • Vector (preferred): SVG, AI, or EPS
  • High-resolution raster: PNG (transparent background), 300 dpi minimum

Submission Requirements
  • One entry may include up to 3 variations (e.g., color/monochrome) of the same concept.
  • Include your theme caption (this is the official theme proposal).
  • Provide your name, Pony Club/Region, and contact email in the Google Form.
  • Optional: a short (1–3 sentences) design rationale.
Timeline
  • October 24, 2025 — Submissions due (11:59 PM Central).
  • November 7, 2025 — Regional Leaders review and vote on the official logo & theme.
  • Winner will be notified by email and announced on the website and social channels.

Judging Criteria
  • Relevance to the convention and our region
  • Clarity & memorability of the theme caption
  • Design quality & versatility (works well on pins, apparel, web, print)
  • Brand alignment with USPC guidelines

Rights & Usage
​By submitting, you agree that the Lake Shore Region Pony Club/USPC may use, reproduce, and adapt your logo and theme across official materials for the 2027 Convention (with credit where feasible). Final artwork may be refined to meet production and brand standards.
